- Yes, and this is intentional. Brushed brass has no protective lacquer coating, so it will naturally develop a warmer, slightly darker patina with use. You can slow this by drying the faucet after use, or polish it occasionally to restore a brighter tone.

- Can this faucet be used for hot water?
